When the oil is slightly warmed (2 min), add in the ginger and green onion.ġ5.) Let it simmer for 3 min until the ginger and green onion has slightly wilted.ġ6.) Add in the salt, and pour into a bowl to serve with the chicken. Bring it to a boil on medium heat.ġ0.) When it is boiling, turn it on to high heat for 1 min.ġ1.) After 1 min, turn it back down to medium heat and let it simmer for 5 min.ġ2.) After 5 min on medium heat, turn it down to low heat for 10 min. If using a rice cooker, stop here! If not, then continue down!ĩ.) If not using a rice cooker, place it in a pot with a tight lid cover. (Be sure to use the same measuring cup when measuring the liquid.)Ĩ.) Place the sliced ginger and garlic on top of the rice and turn the rice cooker on! Do not throw away the liquid.ĥ.) Pour the liquid under a strainer to remove any impurities.Ħ.) Rinse and drain the rice under cold water three times.ħ.) Add in the 2 3/4 cups of the strained Chicken liquid to the rice.
